Hello, and welcome!
Welcome
to the official BRAND NEW website for the Lincoln University Canoe and
Kayak team. Based at the University of Lincoln, we're a large group of
like-minded students who enjoy nothing more than getting out on the
water in Kayaks and Canoes.
Often
we'll be found paddling the Brayford, just outside the University, on
a Wednesday afternoon but we also organise a number of trips during the
year to locations as varied as Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Newquay and Wales.
So if you've always
wondered who the students walking around in brightly coloured L.U.C.K
hoodies or who's padding and rolling between the University and
Brayford waterfront, well now you know!
We're
always looking for new members to join our team and if you think
Kayaking could be for you, then why not get in contact with us? Or of
course, you can find us at the various Fresher's Fair's at the start of
each Semester here at the University of Lincoln.
Looking Forward
Having just returned from Newquay 2012, it's reached that time of year when we start to look forward. In the next few weeks we'll be settling plans for our summer trips, including a visit to Wales to canoe the border rivers. We'll also be electing a new committee for the 2012/13 academic year to take over from this years team. With that in mind we'd just like to say a big thank you to everyone on the committee for this year, and you can find out more about them here.

NSR 2012
The first weekend of March 2012, saw L.U.C.K team members taking to water at the NSR Student Rodeo in Nottingham. It was a great day for all concerned, with some great performances put in by the team from Lincoln and a lot of fun had by all who attended.
